    Default Changing it up.

    Good morning talkers
I’m thinking next grow I’m gonna change it up abit. Although I like the simplicity of soil I always seem to run into problems mid-late flower. I am thinking of doing a coco grow but I haven’t got the time to get in everyday for watering so Il need a watering system. I’m thinking of doing autopots.

What are your experiences with these or does anyone have any other recommendations. Thanks in advance.

I'm still technicaly a growing virgin, or half a virgin maybe? Anyway I've got my first grow in soil and ordered canna bio terra plus and bio nutes for next time but if anyone's chipping in information on growing in coco and autopots my ears are pinned back.

Sounds like you need a Wilma, I use this and it’s simple to used and you can leave for a week no issues at any point of the grow. They do stand a little tall so think about head height.

You can use a timer for feeds and just keep within the ranges of ec and ph and you’re golden

    Just my thoughts

Ive moved this over to the hydro section for you mate

If you do go down the autopot route you’ll want a coco clay pebble mix as well as bubblers for the rez. Itl take care of your watering no problem as it itl keep the coco moist throughout by wicking through the bottom.

As long as you have the time to alter the Ph of the Rez throughout you’ll be fine with these

    Cheers for your input.
Just as an example how often and for how long would you set the timer for?

Cheers blue. What sort of bubbler would you recommend for the 47l res also how often would you say I would need to alter the ph?

Your going to want an air stone pump capable bubbling your tank size. Bare in mind the cheaper air stone pumps can make quite abit of noise so perhaps best to look into the more silent models if noise will be an issue.

The ph and Ec levels will be trial and error maybe a week I’m unsure... The stone should keep things in order for at least a few days... As with any hydro tanks the more you can check in on the levels the better. Worth noting the system can only be turned on when the plants are established though mate so hand feeding will be needed at first if growing from seed.

Check out vlads diary, sure he’s running these with autos at the moment
