Default Best & easiest way to automate things

    Hi talkers I have a 2.4m x 1.2m tent and run 8 plants.

My current grow in Coco I’m watering everyday and then getting rid of run off it takes me sometimes nearly 2 hours every night.

Basically I want a product that is gonna water my plants and get rid of the run off with minimum effort from me and I can set up with relative ease.

And as I’m in a first floor flat something that’s not gonna flood my flat would be good to.

I know there are a couple of build yourself threads floating about but I’m just to lazy and not great with DIY lol.

I’ve seen this Rhizosytem and although it’s quite pricey I can’t see why this isn’t the best option ?

If joker was about I’m sure he’d be a big help here

He swears by the rhizodrain system..... Might be worth having a look through his diaries mate

I’ve actually spoken to him in the past about it I’m pretty sure he built his own using just the Rhizo trays and the brain.

I can’t actually find another company selling it.

I don’t really care to much about cost though just want plug and play type of thing but maybe with a 200L tank instead of 100L.

I'm quite sure you could get a system cheaper than that brother with maybe just a wee bit of DIY i mean even with that one there's gonna be a certain degree of DIY assembling it, hope yah get what your looking for at a good price mukka, all the best G'.

I have the rhizosystem drain only version and it's one that of the best bits of equipment I have bought. Very highly recommend, and it's the sand set up as joker as he was the one who persuaded me to go for it. I wouldn't buy the full version as you can knock up your own feeding system for a fraction of the cost. Any questions fire away mate.

If you willing to part your hard earned for a system like that n with you being shit at DIY, would changing method of growing not suit you better? Like buying a RDWC system?

I’m not totally against the idea of building one myself but I wouldn’t know where to start hence why I think the Rhizo system would suit me.

Looked at RWDC a bit but are they not for full hydro and have small pipes ? I want to stay with Coco.

The only thing worth buying is the rhizo pans/ stands as these are bit of a pain to replicate diy. Ive done it with a pot on bits of wood but looks a bit nasty, works though

The rest is just pipe, pumps, a timer and a tank.

I can help mate start to finish but only if youre full on serious. Not judging you personally by any means but helped others with full part lists on lighting etc taking me hours and never seen them again.

More fool me i guess but genuinely dont mind helping those who want it.

I should have done a build thread to be ho but didnt take all the pics
