Talking Brown streek growing up the side of this stem?

Can anyone see this brown streek growing up the side of this center stem? It looks like par of the stem is ding. It has lost it's green color, looks like the brown Hairs look, when they turn from white to brown, except it is green turning to brown. Is this any thing I should worry about?

Could it be the root that feeds that side of the stem is ding or something?

My stems were all dark purple the other week and that was my own fault thru mixing feed bottles up

My stems are sometimes darker on the side opposite the light but not always and not quite brown in colour

That's plant I transplanted when it was in Flowering, I think about half of it died right after that. But I just notice the brown part of the center stem today, just wondering how long it has been that way. It would only get sun when sun is going down on that side, not the hold day long. Thanks for all the information, just glad it isn't riot. After thinking about it for A while, it seems like it is one of the roots that died off, and didn't take to the plant. Today is day 1 of week 6, so she has another 3 weeks to go. I guess as long as some of it is growing, it will be all right until November 17th.

Is it not the stem ‘woodening’ for lack of a better word. As my plants mature the stems go brown and very hard/strong. Could it be that?

Yes, they look bruised like SAD said. I have seen it on the very bottom of the main root, but forget about it, probably just that Chippy1.
