So, tbf I have done most the work myself this time, unlike the variac, but a cple things I'm unsure of. Firstly I want to check if what I've done so far is right, I have the blue wire (neutral right?) in slot - on the light board and brown (live) in the + slot on the board. There is a close up though you cant see the +/- symbol. Then they go into the wagos (pictured) to connect the driver pack thing. So as long as that's good we're ok up to now.

I watched the video IS had done, I know I cut the 3 pin plug off at the iec end (pictured) and that they connect via that fuckin russian doll thing but can someone tell me which colour wire goes into which hole please. I've made it real easy by colour coding it
So the 3 driver pack wires come through the other side and correspond to the colour of the plug wire, do they need to touch each other? Or doesn't it matter?

Also I know I haven't cut the wires, didn't want to do anything drastic. Can always be cut down.

The inline connector (Russian doll )
The main thing is to have the same wires in each side. As this is just to join the the plug to the driver.
As long as you have Earth to earth , live to live and neutral to neutral you are good.

Ah nice one man, I did think that but felt I'd done well enough on my own to that point to ask for an opinion lol. And does it matter if the wires touch? Or is it necessary that they DO touch?

Would you cut the blue and brown wires shorter or does it not matter, just depends on how much length I need to get to where I'll keep the driver?

Make sure the conductive parts of the wires aren't touching another incase you short circuit or cause a fire.

Yes Ice, wish I'd have read your comment sooner, I won't look at them again without the aviators on, or poundland specials and triple up on lenses.
