Default Is it a good soil for cannabis? Soil with compost.

    Hi,

I was buying a soil with compost, but not sure is it a good one. After buying that soil I was reading that it has extended-release compost, lots of N and additional fertilization may not be needed.

Compost soil is always good, don't know so much about time release nutes though. JMO

Might want to consider getting something without time released nutrients. You could be left guessing in your grow whats going on if there's potential issues.... But... It could be totally fine. Jusy my opinion.

Very good point regarding the time-release nutrients it can make things easy at the start but can also create problems further down the road.

Would have to agree with all the above. My first ever grow was with one of the Miracle-Gro soils with time release nutes and it all went tits up!

When growing in soil, I've always used Canna terra pro, never had any issues. This grow I've gone with plagron batmix and have got good results so far
