Default Bud dried up on plant

So I was helping someone out and thought they had everything under control, last few weeks of flower didn't goto plan but think they just got lazy tbh, between heat temps being through the roof due to closing doors of the room the tent was in causing a closed room without air in or out and then over watering they called me to check it out, apparently the plant dried out and stopped drinking water. Media was 60/40 and the roots was well watered via hydroponic setup, it had 2 weeks left of flower and when I got there it was like the plant had decided to finish up and harvest itself, could've cut this plant at the base and hung it up right there to just trim because it was bone dry, every bit of flower was dry throughout, could've ground all the bud up with my fingers tbh

Any idea why this could've happened because it was very strange

I think M.C s right mukka without a decent intake/outake this is bound to happen, need a good airflow through the tent to prevent these type of things happening might as well harvest imho. G'.

2 plants in the room, the other is fine but they both have separate water so I'm guessing maybe it's drunk all the water and he's not realised?

The other plant is "fine" it's not amazing looking but doesn't have any real issues

I cut the effected plant down and put straight into jars, it didn't need hung up to dry at all :-(

So any idea why one plant dried and the other is fine?

101 possibilities, from a blocked pipe to the strains lack of ability to deal with heat

Water in the res underneath so had water when I got there unless he'd stopped watering and just put water in before I got there

Both same strain, from a pack of seeds that I'd seen grown without issues

I'm putting it down to user error
