When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all.

When im doing organic or soil i use molasses to get the ph around where it needs to be 6.3-6.9

I get roughly a tablespoon to a small bit of hot water, then when its melted add water upto a litre. I then mix this in a bit at a time taking readings and adding as i go. I try to use as little as possible. I find the molasses has quite a high ec also so er on the side of caution. I know then my roots only need do a bit of buffering...

Ooooh i do miss the bio bizz buds. hhhhmmm next maybe

Why do you ph when your in soil. Never checked ph in soil. It buffers the ph to the right level. I think that’s right

This belief had me chasing my tail for years. I think a lot depends on the nutes being used, the water being used and how large the pots and plants are. When plants outgrow the pots PH becomes a lot more important imo.

To a certain extent it does, but with a lot of bagged soils it doesnt have the capacity to buffer throughout the ph range

My water is 8.3 after being sat for 24hrs and caused lock out, i keep the ph between 6.6 and 7.0 now and no ph related issues
