Default Is there a top limit for EC during veg?

    Hi guys,

So I have ten ladies in that’s over the last week since I put food upto 1.6 ec have been burning at each feed it’s basically been a feed then a flush then feed then flush for the last 4 feeds.

A pal of mine at the grow shop wrote out an ec chart to guide me through my first time using the EC to measure my feed.

He wrote out it for example

    1 1.0
    2 1.0-1.2
    3 1.0 - 1.2
    4 1.2
    ————
    5 1.2 -1.4
    6
    7
    8
    9
    10
    11
    12

    You get the jist?

So I have been following this chart in regards of the age of the plant so Because I am using screen of green so i will Be vegging for longer than 4 weeks. Since food has gone to 1.6 they have been burning moderately.

I am going to put back down to 1.4 I just wondered is this happening because there is an upper limit for the nutrients the girls would need for the veg stage when there not producing flowers?

Thanks in advance for any help

Cut that in half in the least

You stqrt at .2ec and go up in .1-.2 intervals .
1.0 e.c is more for cuts . You would fry seedlings out of the pot at that rate

    Hi guys,

Thanks for taking your time to share advice and experience.

So long story short the chart he gave me is a little bit overkill and I should take a little off the strength.

If anyone else has any further experiences to share or advice to give me please feel free to share beneath.

    Thanks again guys much appreciated

Nothing to add other than I agree with the other comments. I've not needed to go above 1.3 in flower. My base ec is 0.06, I add cal mag to get it around 0.35, and my nutes take it to 0.6 for seedlings, 0.9 at late veg, then 1 to 1.3 throughout flowering. Sometimes tapering off towards the final flush and chop if my plant looks to be well fed already
