I have searched this and many other forums for weeks and it seems to be a problem for many people, especially around week 3-4 of flower. So far I have not found anything that has solved the problem after reading literally hundreds of threads.

I have fed low, fed high, used different nutrients and cut all additives, done change outs every 5 days and every 3 weeks (I think regular change outs made it worse), used Hydroguard and not used it, and still every morning I am dumping PH up into the res.

Yesterday I flushed my full system running over 300 litres of water through it to get rid of any residues then refilled with a lower ec (1.2 background 0.2) PH 6.2. went in today 12 hours later and it is down to 5.1 PH.

This has me beat and I have yet to find any answers on the web after weeks if not months of searching.

Just went to transplant some youngsters and the rot has resurfaced, I thought they were growing slow. They have had Hydro guard and Biosys Ecothrive, res temps are low and it was cleaned thoroughly. Sick as a parrot this may have me beat.

Just wondering if I have still have pythium in my flowering system and this is causing PH drop but not affecting the roots.

I am going to try sterile again. If that doesn't work feck knows what I will do. Trash my full system and grow in soil.

    Will order some Pythoff tomorrow.

    Anyone tried Poolshock??

This has been one of my suspects for quite a while now Trex. I don't put it in the rez but top feed a few litres and soak the rockwool in full strength before I transplant and soon after the PH starts to drop and the plants get transplant shock badly.

Well here's a surprise. I flushed with loads of plain tap water around 300 litres and figured any bennies would be dead as I didn't dechlorinate the tap water. In my wisdom I added some Silver bullet sterilizer. Low and behold I went in today and the PH was stable and EC also stable.

I was convinced a live system with beneficials the way to gout as it isn't working I have ordered some Pool Shock (Calcium Hypochlorite) off ebay and will try sterile again.

Lets face it keeping beneficials alive can be a pain in the ass.

I'm at this point now that my ph is dropping all the time yet they were loving the feed at 1.2 at the beginning of flower....now in week 5 ph dropping like mad and got loads of shitty leafs

Going to throw a full change in there today with just plain water and let the roots leach out any shit they have and try reset them all
