Best of luck! There are a few organic wizards here and plenty of good info.

I use soil too but not 100% organic yet.

Should I add worm casting and/or perlite to my soil (plant magic plus soil)? Or should I just leave it as is for my first grow?

Use your castings as a topdress. Maybe part way through veg and when you start flowering.

Can I stick a quid in the meter and chip in with that if your growing short term autos keep it a simple as possible concerning feeds
I'm putting in a vote for old timers bloom and a nip of fish mix for a hit of nitrogen once every 7-10 days and that's it
I've been using orcanicus 99 with a pk booster for a few grows now and isn't a patch on the old timers /fishmix where my buds were as fat as me wrist

I'm also trying adding eggs shells to my plant magic soil no idea if it's an old wives tale but it's calcium carbonate so I'm giving that a nudge for the first time and hope there's some improvement as I've been farting all week after eating all the bleeding eggs
And yeah kurdt with using orcanicus there's definitely a lack of meat on the bone concerning bud size so definitely going back to just using old timers bloom, biobizz fish mix and no boosters just molasses a few weeks in

Hello again, my seeds are germinating as we speak so this is what I have for my grow

    And these nutrients

This should be here today or tomorrow

Should I mix the earthworm castings in with the soil mix and the Mycorrhizal?

Will the mix be too hot for the seedling or should I do this mix in the bottom half of the pot and then plant magic soil alone on top so it's not too hot for the seedling or should I remove any of these products from this grow?

    Thanks in advance

I've never used castings fella but the Mycorrhizal is for roots so give it an even mix throughout the soil and are you adding any perlite? I use same soil and I add about 5-10% I know it has fyrocil added but it does compact down a bit so adding perlite is a bonus

I've read a few threads saying that they dont add any perlite as it has enough aeration supposibly so I'm hoping to get away without any
