Thread: lamp arrangement

    Default lamp arrangement

    was having heat issues have sorted them out today but only put the hps on for 30 min to keep an eye on temperature
    want to monitor tomorrow.

    are the lights ok arranged like this?

    Only way to know is when you get readings back temperature wise...in terms of the angles, I don't see why not, seems like it should be directing where it needs to be going

    temp was getting up to 38c lights on 23c lights off

    now temp 29c lights on 23c lights off

    was just thinking about the coverage on the plants sides as well as the canopy
    I am turning the pots a little bit every day also.

    To be perfectly honest with you..I think you're in a much better position to be able to judge that from where you are

    Temps still too high.

    29c is too high? when lights on?
    what temp is the highest can go to with lights on?

    Well, the ideal is between 25-26c (lights on)...you can go a degree or two either side generally but it's always best to shoot for the ideal if you can.

    Lights off should be roughly 5c difference between lights on, again that's the 'ideal' but can fluctuate a little if needs be.

    made the changes today and seems to have sorted it out but only got light on for half hour at a time still at the min so can monitor it. gonna put it on full 18hrs tomorrow if its ok tomorrow night at lights on il check about 5 min before it goes off.

    managed to get the temp down to 25c lights on
    and drops to 20c when lights are off

    that's with the room temp today inside and out
    so just going to prove it tomorrow.

    broke my temperature sensor by mistake.
    so just using cheap oldskool one till new one comes.

    swoped light round so intake fan is blowing direct to the bulb at extractor side seems to be bit better now.

    it was 1c warmer yesterday outside and temp went up a little bit.
    its 9c outside again and temp is 25c lights on 20c lights off


    new thermometer ment to be here today. thank god so will get proper readings

    upped the feed dosage by ec0.2 last night shes loving it.
    so shes on ec0.6 now give her a week then increase a little bit more and see how she likes it

    or anyone recommend what ec to feed her at??
