Temperature issues...any help guys?

Okay, room is about 3 foot wide, 7 long and 7 high, not all of ya is space is avaliable so I have around 3x3, running 600hps digital ballast (tried 400 and 600 with no temp difference) my temps at pot level seem to be around 25-26 but canopy level temps reading 32!! Using a 4inch outtake 150m/h, can't fit a intake (could but would he a major pain in the arse) light is sitting around 18" above canopy...now don't laugh these temps where taken using a meat probe, so could be off (hygro will be purchased friday) any ideas how to reduce these temps as I think it's really affecting top colas, my buds get fatter and fatter the lower down they are

Hi mate, you could try lifting your lights a few inches also aim your fan/fans between your lights and the top of your canopy, this should keep it cooler

Thanks for the reply mate, light is 18inch above plants and fan blows directly between light and canopy, also my filter is about 1inch about light and to the right of it as to try get rid of the heat, either my shitty makeshift temps gauge is wrong or the extractor is shite

Ideally you need a decent hygrometer to be accurate. and try lifting lights up to say 25 inches. The top colas could be under some heat/light stress. If none of this works the a intake would be beneficial, or even a bigger extraction unit

Thanks for the help fella, I would higher the light but I have others in there at all ages (very very bad choice) but this is my first grow so was only doing 2 but one turned out male, so I adopted another that was 2 weeks behind of someone else and 3 from seed about 2-3 days old so they got threw straight in on 12-12 (another bad choice) so I assume it is heat issues another the top, I think this girl is full sativa also, posted a pic and a few of the other guys said she would be

You need an intake, even if it's just from outside the groom.

this sorted my tent out good advice had same problem but you can get all different readings on temps and humidity.
I got 3 inside tent canopy level.
one low level.
1 above lights.
and one that is out 10% on humidity but fine on temperature readings is outside.


that was the one I got the high reading inside on of funny enough.

that was the one I got the high reading inside on of funny enough.

I'm quickly finding its better to learn to read the plants man, 3 different makes of temp/hum readers, all in the same spot, all out of each other by 10% ish hum and at least 2 c out on temp, just can't trust em unless if you spend more money you actually get reliability, which is usually the case but I've never read anybody advising to spend decent money on one.

got one of them In there also for when its needed.
ready in few weeks so put it in ready.
plants have been fine all the way through nice leaves nice condition and not dark.
cant wait to finish it and hang it?
