    Default Sick Plant

    Hi all,

Can anyone help diagnose what's wrong with my Plant? It's got yellow crispy lower leaves and dots on the upper ones. It's hydroponic grown with a pH of around 6.5-7, and TDS of 1.5k. I'm using a magnesium and calcium nutrient mix. It's about 4 weeks old and attempting to flower. Any help appreciated.

Your PH is too high 5.8 is the sweet spot for hydro

Thank you! I'll try it at 5.8. Is there anything else that this look could indicate? Will my Mag-Cal mix be sufficient?

Why would you use magcal? It just seems the 'go to' to solve issues when it is, more often than not, not required

Innit MC i am seeing a lot of this running out for cal mag. When i ask why i get the well its because its what i seen done or they get a bit aloof.

Original poster - mc has given you all you need to do at this stage, lower the ph so your poor plant can feed. Its like you trying to eat your dinner from a table 10 feet away, not gonna happen, you gonna get skinny n pale. same for plants, if the ph is out then it is not available tyo the plant. In organics its different, you rely on good bacteria to buffer the ph range fore the plant. but chem fedding needs the ph just right or defs galore

Have lowered to 5.7pH so far, will let you know how it goes. As for MagCal, using it simply as it's what I've read but happy to take any other suggestions?
