It's about root technology & air pruning. In coco they work well, in soil, fabric pots may work as well?

Good luck on your grow, I think your going a bit over the top using 8 10 gallon pots in a tent that size, think I,d work with 8-10 litre pots as your veg time is going to be very short with 8 plants in that space so just wasting soil imo, good luck and keep it simple

And 1-600w should cover that space or you’ll struggle with temps

Wow thats going to be tight you,ll struggle to get 8 22lt 10 gallon in that space unless you lay the tent on its side.

In a 2.4m tent I think 2x600w hps will be good, that’s what I’m working with, I just use normal house buckets and it’s more than enough, I just get a real good rootball in smaller pots then fire them into the buckets a couple of weeks before flower, the roots slow right down during flower so no worries about being rootbound, you,ll need a 6 inch extraction set up too with those lights, a good airflow is really important for a good crop, good luck m
