[QUOTE=M_C;1071029147]I hear what is said about tap water & the
chlorine does evaporate when exposed to uv light. The much more harmful Chloromine they now use in water doesn't. Plants need chlorine in tiny micro amounts but although it doesn't seem too strong smelling etc to us, it is still too strong for your soil or plants. Use Ecothrive neutraliser, removes chlorine and chloromine, harmless to plants and soil bio culture.

If it bothers you then buy Vit C powder (sodium ascorbate) tiny amount clears 50L it reacts instantly and clears chlorine and I think chloramine aswell??
I've been using straight tap water with the chlorine left in, in my dripper system. Figure I'm running a sterile tank and in coco so surely chlorine will help that. Plants seem happy enough to me.
Would defo get it out the water for soil grows tho.
