Just took a cut from my plant first time trying. Am I right to think I leave it in the dark if so how long for it’s in a propagation tray?

Bout two weeks . Cuts like bright light but not much heat . Fluorescent or LED lamps

They do love bottom hest though . Best done with a heat mat set at 25°

OP make sure you cut the leaves in half and leave around 3-2 leaves on them, take the rest off. When a cut has loads foliage and no roots how is it going to support that foliage? it will take ages without stripping them down a bit. Around 7-10 days and roots should be out. Also make sure you use a part of the stem that has a branch on it and remove it, this encourges roots to grow from where the branch used to be.
