Good luck with the build m8, it’s looking nice and compact, looking forward to seeing the end result, I’m growing in a drobe but I’m thinking of adding another double drobe to it for another plant and maybe a veg part for when I’m drying in my normal one

Cheers all... sorry for the slow progress lol.

Bought some angled pvc trim to use instead of those carpet grippers on all the inner corners... bought x10 1m lengths so can use that to pin down the sheet and door and to make it look slick. Got a can of spray glue also to keep the sheet flat.
Hard to get to it as wife needs help and company after being with the baby all day. Plus I need to measure up for the vent but need to tackle moving 3 plug sockets 1st... need daylight and a bit of research for that.

And xmas is getting close and all I've got so far is my wifes gift

Yeah, haven't got time to myself till 11ish PM. Bit late to be drilling and cant be cutting power to move plugs in the dark. Hoping the plugs bit is easy. I should prob start a new thread for advice. Got a line running from the electric box in the house to another in the cabin so not sure if I need to cut off power to everything, or just flick the switch for the cabin power to go off... and would that be on the main house box or cabins box or both? Lol. Should get a sparky round but none I trust that wouldn't know what I'm up too...

Plugs are just screwed onto the cabin walls . Will need to disconnect and reconnect two of them when resituating em and may need to shorten one length, but otherwise they'll still all be connected in the same series/linked arrangement

How do you find the noise from the extractor in your drobe or even the previous cupboard? I've got an rvk 100L, it's ok in the stealthbox it's in now, not silent but quiter than the osci fan, may build something in my bedroom over xmas for next grow. It's always seemed fine on No 1 setting on variac controller thankfully

I tried making a soundproof box when I 1st started... had acoustic plaster green glued to some mdf. Fan on bugees inside, lined with layers of carpet foam and topped with carpet. Did well to quieten my bluetooth speaker on full whack... then I hooked it all up, connected the ducting, and my heart sank when the noise point of origin shifted to the end of the ducting lol. So ditched that bulky 15kg box and later used a basic ply one stuffed with rags around the fan. Did the job. The ducting in the tent made noise sucking the air out so i added a 125mm reducer to my 100mm ducting to slow the air flow at the entrance to the duct. Also put a layer of cut carbon filter sleeve to filter out dirt. Humidifier and clip ons make the most noise now. Fortunately i put my PC in view and that's loud as feck so helped disguise the hidden noises around it.

Nice one man helpful stuff, I did the same, built an mdf box, stuffed with alsorts of noise reducing materials, then noticed all the noise was coming from the whooshing exit air lol, bodged a cone out of a box of coco pops and taped it to the ducting. PC is a good heads up.

Dying to get my next grow going but still far from ready. As soon as I get back home (away doing the xmas thing atm) I'm on it again. Just need daylight so I can move some inconveniently positioned plug sockets 1st.
Got a mini circular saw for xmas so looking forward to putting that to use.
Won some black cream beans in one of the xmas comps so def doing one of those next grow. Not sure what the 2nd plant I go for will be. Prob white widow as have loads of them now... had a few already then won more on one of the potms.

2 strips removed so it's now 120w total. And more importantly, itll fit in the wardrobe now. Also repositioned the dimmer to the side instead of the front.
