Ok so along with tv's and sky, phones and home hubs, the lot is blown. But the biggest fucker is it blew my 400 dual spec for finishing off, i only have a metal halide in 400watts. So at present only blue light for the end. Is this ok or gonna fuck the potency up?

The fantastical weird side of me is saying that its a good thing (from memory) but is is?

I had MH on the last 2 weeks of my WW grow, as it was mentioned by someone and I thought I'll give it a go...no difference either way as far as I see, didn't increase or decrease yield or potency...its supposed to mimic winter sun but who knows, lol

Holy crap Smoby, that's terrible news..glad it didn't cause any fires and the damage is limited to hardware rather than to you and yours.

I'm not sure about using MH in flower, but I've heard many growers actually do it through choice for the last 2-3 weeks of flower.


Out of curiosity were you using any of those Surge protected sockets?

Yea ice . Lightning got milllions of volts . Not much one can do .
They will help with a surge . Like say u got 220V and it spikes to like 300-350 it will work but not lightning bud
