THCTalk 50ml growout - advance warning!

I brought an anycubic i3 mega, which is okay for prints. If I print smaller, get better detail. But I've just been trying out a thicker nozzel for faster print time. Took 2 hours this head did. Body will take 3 I reckon. Do you do any yourself trex mate?

No MK . Havent . I do a bit of machining at work when machinist aint around . Passable work at best but i learned it by myself on the fly .
Would love to play around with it though .

How much did yours set you back ? Ive seen from 3-5k for units wich is a lil more then i want to spend just to play around on free time lol

Yeah man, I got it set up roughly for around £350 including filaments and shit lol. The best thing mate, is buy the printer and then add your own custom parts to it. You might be interested in a cnc printer I think it's called. It basically cuts wood to shapes for you without all the hars manual labor lol

Wicked mate, might aswell get one while the price has dropped haha. I tell ya mate, these 1kg filaments last forever lol. I've had mine for about 4/5 months now and still on the first reel

Haha yea . Mr.Trex would definetly crush my nutsack if i spend another dime on my hobbies this close to xmas just bought about 2500$ worth of LED lamps that will he coming in after the holidays lol
