Ohh yea ice they fly man .
This HLG65 is an amazing lamp . Kicking T5HO @1/4 the input and over double the output in guacamoles lol .less heat makes the lettuce better tasting . I found the t5 made the lettuce taste a tad on the bitter side cuz the diztance needed to be closer . They dont like heat at all . Lettuce growz well in 18-23° weather

This variety of lettuce is Simpson Black Seed . A leaf variety . My favorite .
29 days per head . I can start peeling off outter layers around 20 days for snacking and whatnot .

With t5 depends eh . I found 12-18" ok but then light doesnt penetrate and dont sprad much eh . Its a constant battle .
So what i had going was 2-4ft t-8 40w on each side of the 2ft-t5 to spread light more . Thus costing me 300 fawkin watts for the same as this little 65w led .

Hmm definitely food for thought, ok cheers mate, will ponder on this for a while

I have my beast LED's but wouldn't wanna start them under them, as they dim down to a minimum of 185w
