Thread: Growers Ark - Nutrient specifically formulated for your water?

  1. Default Growers Ark - Nutrient specifically formulated for your water?

Hi talkers..so a new member here mentioned a company called 'Growers Ark' who supply nutrient feeds etc, so I had a look into it ...

Something there took my eye... it seems they offer a service where you can send a sample of your water over to them (for a fee)..

Based off of the results from that test if needed can offer a customised version of there food that will be specifically formulated for your water!

Now, this sounds VERY interesting indeed, depending on how much they would charge for this 'customised version'....

Has anyone here had any experience with it? and what are peoples thoughts on this?...I personally think if it's cheap enough and works well, this could be very interesting indeed

    Ok after reading further, turns out they do state prices ;

"Custom food has a minimum order amount of 5 ltrs and costs £10 more per 5 ltr set than standard food as we have to calculate a recipe and make it by hand."

So, for example, their 'all in one' soil nutrient (specifically formulated for your water) would cost £43 for 5L..

    Thoughts on this?

Sounds like a good idea i suppose . But that said . Water e.c and ph can vary from one season to another . On my end it can go from .15e.c in winter to .4 in summer . Ph can swing from 7.5 to 6 .
Kind of a toss up tbh

The water test is £30 rather than free, isn't it?

    "For a fee"

Apologies, Ice - I read the OP as "For free"

    So £73 for 5L of custom-built feed.

A litre of A+B grow & bloom, 250ml take root, muliti total, 1ltr leaf green, 250ml explode would set you back £65...does all-in-one contain the equivalents, if so, not a bad price for 5ltrs

Yeah I mean..IF this really is what it says it is and works, it would be even better I'm thinking if the water sample fee is a one-time deal right?..you send over your water for £30 once.

So if they continue that 'customisation' at £43 for 5L thereafter then that's actually very good...but the real question is, how 'customized' are we talking here and how well does it work in real terms.

That could be possible for me as my EC or PH hasn't budged at all.
