Makes sense. I do use the 6400k.

Ok, so does this graph of the ish150 mean its lower in blue than all other colours?

It's lower in blue then the areas that are higher then the blue. It has more blue then green for example

Don't think you can just compare two graphs from different strenght lights though.
These graphs show the wavelengths relative to each other with the biggest peak topping out at 1. So I guess it will also depend on total photon output of both lights to be able to say which has the most blue light output. I could be wrong here as I'm far from an expert on the subject.

Too much blue isnt good and photosynthetically ineffective.

Dont worry too much about spectrum, somewhere in the middle ground is fine for veg and flower

Too much the case that light manufacturers trying to get you to buy twice or more of their shit

    Call out their bull shit

I'm glad to read this because I was kinda wondering why my light had so much red in the veg mode and not even all the white leds being used in this mode. Even though it's only 4 of them missing in the veg mode, I thought it was more.

Ok thanks for the explanations, just trying to make sense of it instead of winging it lol, knowledge comes with experience I suppose. I've got some seeds popped, growing quick in 24 hr, 2 had just poked some slight green head through the soil earlier so in about 3 hr have grown 10mm. Light is on lowest watt at 47 and hangin about 30 or 31in above, looking out for light burn
