Default What was the last book you read?

    Book? Yes books!

    Anyone here still reading them?

I recently started with Lee Child's book Killing Floor, finished it within a week and am now nearly done with his second book, Die Trying. I have to say books grab my attention much more then movies do but it's a pain in the as to roll a joint while reading a book

But it's a good book right? Was a bit surprised that the second book all of the sudden was written in 3rd person instead of 1st.
Have you got any recommendations of similar stuff?

I have been on bit of a soul searching and recovery journey, so the 2 books that I have completed and have been most impactful for me have been:

    Deconverted by Seth Andrews
    Godless by Dan Barker

I am almost at the end of Richard Dawkins' Outgrowing God. The last bit I find drags on a bit but the guy is a heavy weight.

Gonna be reading Eckhart Tolle, Joe Dispenza next.

At least these are the ones that I am willing to share LOL!!!

I have actually managed to have never read any!

Funny, I have never really been into fiction, besides religion, that is.

There is a crap tonne of book samples on my kindle. If they are not self help stuff, they are spirituality or related topics. William Buhlman, HP Lovecraft, Damien Echols and so on. There just aren't enough hours in the day!

You read The Celestine Prophecy series? I really liked those. Still fiction btw.

Mills and Boone for me I'm reading the Malcolm X autobiography, fancied it after watching Godfather of Harlem. Gonna have a look for a decent book on civil rights movement of the 60s, few I've seen are more text books.

Cple of good reads that stick out are Acid row by minette walters and Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz, the latter being one of the best fiction stories I've ever read..ever lol

Just had a quick glance on Amazon...! The title rings a bell but I generally don't do fiction so it might be quite a while before I get to them though!

The last "big" fiction series I read was by Stephen Donaldson, Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. Basically Lord Of The Rings type of stuff. Never got through the 3rd book LOL! Yeah, it was fun with mystical creatures and journeying, but after a while I found that is just wasn't really for me
