Wiring an lighting

Hello people just a quick question does this 125w clf wiring looks safe to use got it from a friend an he said it worked ok a few years ago lol just wanted to make sure

An would a 150w an this 125w clf be another to veg 5 clones in a 3x3 tent

Not really...you would be better removing that connector block and rewiring...10 minute job

I'd like to see no copper where the brown enters the block... but, the last one I rewired took longer than 10 mins as I didn't have a long enough screwdriver

If you squeeze the white strain relief, with a pair of pliers, as it goes through the metal work, it will come out cable and all and you can do away with the connector completely...no need for tape

Will i need to get another one of these or would I be able to screw the wire down on to the reflector

Another one would be best practice... but they tend to be crimped... its back to the right tools again

...In the meantime either see if you can open it to release the wire & insert the fresh - or screw the wire down to the reflector with a suitable washer
