Cheers for the opinions, went with an X MAX Starry Vaporizer in the end, came today looks nice, feels like a quality build, had a few tokes and I like it, not harsh at all. Gonna also invest in the Elev8r vape soon as it looks like a lovely piece of kit, needed something I can take out at first really and if you've seen the Elev8r vape you'll know it isn't exactly something you have a sneaky toke on outside at parents evening

How do ppl go with the toking? Do you load up and have a few blasts then turn off and 30 min later boot it bk up and have a few more blasts then continue and repeat until it's burned out?

They'd probably think you are some posh crack smoker if you take the Elev8r out

As for the vaping sometimes I give it a couple tokes at a lower temp and put it away for more tokes later and other times I put it on max temp and consume the whole bowl in one session.
I have the Arizer Air 2 and if you start toking before it reaches the set temperature it can't really keep up with the heating so sometimes I set it to 220C but start toking when it hits 190 and then it drops to about 175 maybe and then I hit it again when it's back up to 190 or so, this way I can get a good couple of tokes at a lower temp before allowing it to reach the 220 to finish off the bowl, safes me a couple button clicks

And I mostly vape while already horizontal in bed so I use it upside down which allows me to add hash or concentrate as well if I want to.

Nice one mate, just like me and the Mrs we really do feel it's decent build as you said and heats up nicely, taking 18650 batteries being the icing on the cake...glad you're liking it so far

With my PAX, I do it low, then mid, then high... a full vape done in about 20 mins

It is a minefield out there when it comes to vapes. Ive tried quite a few over the years.It really depends on how 'serious' you're going to be when vaping weed. For me,the cheap ones just dont cut it.Dont get me wrong, im very fkn far from being financially comfortable but luck came to me twice and I was able to afford/justify spending some money on a decent vaper. I had a Pax 2,(which I think are just over a £100 now,) I think it pretty much does what the Pax 3 does but is not programmable by a smart phone. It was a decent vape and i still use it when out and about for a cheeky hit. But the real eye opener for me is when I was able to get a Mighty...It's not a 'look at me,I have a mighty!' kinda thing, they really are that good and far exceed any other vape Ive tried. But if you're just getting into vaping weed because you're curious,it is hard to justify spending that amount of money on something that could end up in the draw a couple of weeks down the line.

I like the crafty and the mighty both totally controllable. Made by storz-bickle same as the volcano

Nice, well unfortunately it looks like I'm gonna have to do a lot of testing to find the sweet spots....oh no look forward to it, I may build a box for all these gizmos comin in, save them all stickin out the kitchen cupboard lol
