    They reckon about 60 days to harvest but, like with cannabis seeds, they're ready when they are ready. I won't be using a calendar

    I grew some cress last year as the wife had never grown it before. That was about 7/10 days

    Yeah. I used a small grape container (from Sainsburys) & some cotton wool, wetted, on the bottom. The few holes in the container allowed the cotton wool to stay moist but not too wet

    Dang, I would have sent you some.

    I often re-veg the root area of spring onions that I get from the shops, and they grow and things have worked well for a few years until last year LOL. They did not like how much coffee I was drinking...

    Still got one plant going and that has survived snow as well as heat. When they bolt and sprout those dandelion-like flowers, I love the way they look.
