    Default First grow deficiency

This is my first grow so far been going well but plant starting to show signs of a deficiency not sure if it's a calcium defiancy or not, would like to get a bit advice

Just in to week 4 of my grow its a northern lights auto, over last few days been getting loads of growth but started to show brown patches and speckles on some leaves

I am grown in coco, with light schedule of 20/4 with temps between 21-24 with humidity 45-55, getting feed daily at 0.8 ec, I have soft water at 0.1 EC and been using rhizotonic and Cana a and b. keeping my Ph at 5.8-6

Photos are 2 days apart, if need any close ups will take them

Hi and welcome to the forum Shaunmc57, nice to have you here

I'm no coco expert but we have many here so stick around and I'm sure some will be along soon to offer an opinion.

Looking at the plants they seem to be doing really well, would you be able to get a closer shot of the brown patches and speckles you're describing?

Also what lights are you using? LED/HID?

you need to up the temp to 28c under led and your seeing mg def starting (and a prob a touch of cal def as well, the soft water is the clue there theres no cal in soft water ,) get some calmag and bring the water up to .3 ec with calmag then add ur nutes ,

if u dont do the above it will get much worse the temp up to 28c is important the plants can transpire more and process the cal mag u are going to give it

for anyone else under led reading and getting the same or seeing fading uptop use mg only if your water is hard

Already bought some cal mag incase I ran in to a deficiency, I will add that on next feed and do you not think I will get heat stress at 28c as when plant was 2 weeks old started getting leaves turning up and tacoing and reduced temps to stop it happing

you can get a little cupping on sides of leaves but they soon get over it, they wont transpire properly unless you do up the temps its the led way and needed or u will get bad mg def in the end, i suffered for a year with all three of my spaces until i found out that i could have nice green girls led

the old temp point to aim for of 26c for hps just isnt enough under led try it , give it a week with 28c calmag and they will come good

I grow in coco and under led, I'd say 28 is bit too much, ur coco drys up quick and u may run into over feeding them what u don't want to do at this stage.... Check ur run off ec
Aswell.... I had every possible issue first 6 weeks, 20 to26. Temps are good. By powering up ur lights u may run into light stress, nutrients lock up
