Thinking of hps

So atm im using LEDs and like them a lot, however I don't like having to send my unit out for warranty repair when diodes blow.
So should a 1000 watt do for a 4x4 and 1 maybe 2 plants. How's the heat on these if using the cool tube fixture.
What's the best bulbs? I've been reading Genesis but idk!
This is the kit I'm looking at, I'm up for recommendations please.

1000w is what i run now (600+400) in my 4x4. Should be banging this grow... Well see.. so far exploding with pistils ... I recommend!!

I'd be interested in opinions too, was looking at hps earlier for future use.

Bulb wise you can't go wrong with sunmaster duel spectrum bulbs

Looks like a healthy crop, is metal halide for veg?

If you get a duel spec bulb it will do for both veg and flower ,I've never owned MH bulbs ,I run 3x600w sunmaster duelspec

600w MH it was very blue maybe 6000k or 6500k i believe it helped with vertical growth as well as kept them short. I ran it until day 14 of flower.

MH all day long to start with or maybe duelspec but preferably MH then switch to hps or duelspec for flower.used both for many years with good results.however iv just added a LED panel to the hps with ridiculous results

Ah right like the dual spec cfl, same bulb all grow. Would you have 1 bulb for a 1x1x1.8 m tent or are they more for bigger spaces? What watt would go all the way through for 4 plants? Only read a bit about this, are they more expensive to run? Referred to as The golden standard isn't it?

You must have that dialled in, I'm still trying to get the height right for a ish150
