Definitely go for hood rather than tube as the tube is good but slightly less light is emitted due to the curvature of the tube.i only run tube because of space

Your USA ain't you Toker or Canada ,so no idea how your temps are ect ,but in U.K. a 1000w in that space is doable half the year but the general use in that space is 1x600w ,I run the same space as one of my flower spaces
