    Default Last watering before harvest.

Hey everyone. Im due to harvest in 3 days and I'm wondering should I water all the way to chop or let the coco dry out some before harvest?
I'm also going to put the in 36/48hour of darkness before chop.

Can anyone throw in some recommendations or personal preferences?

    Everyone loves a trich shot

Do you ever give them a longer dark period, more than 12hours?

Thanks for the reply Bud reason I ask about dark period is I recently watched a video of clones harvest different periods of darkness with some lab results and was wondering if anyone actually does it.
Here's a screenshot of the results.

I remember watching this video a while back and it seems 24-48 hours is the 'sweet spot' (according to his results)..

I do like to do it personally, but we do need more evidence and more testing to know for sure...he even admits it's nowhere near conclusive evidence...good start though!

Deffo worth the shot tho isn't it ice. Might end up with a cleaner smoke too since the plant pushes everything intok the root zone in dark period.

The dark period in my mind is an old wives tale ,it won't harm your plants if you choose to do so,but personally I'd rather give em the extra 2-3 days of 12/12

I think the darkness thing is to make use of the plant's biology where more of the water goes to the roots in the dark, so a prolonged period = more water is in the roots, so the buds are supposedly drier, and so time spent drying after chop is reduced.

Theoretically it makes sense, but can't say IRL either way if that had helped, or if it might be strain dependent.
