If my water met your water, Ice, mine would back off immediately and suggest a pastry and a coffee to talk things over.

This was result from testing first batch thru the unit

IMO having a water source with a starting point of 0.0 can only be a good thing surely as it give you greater control of the feed strength as depending on the area you live you could have a start ec of .4 before you’ve added a ml of nutes.

I start with my base RO water and then add silicon, leave for a hour for silicon to dissolve and then as cal mag at 1ml per lit, then add my nutes, test ec, lower PH and serve...

I got this one used, with new membranes and a pump which is important as it would take forever without one for £50!!!

These have been fed using RO water from birth nutes delivered at a dosage as advised by the guys on here, this is current position week 8 veg..

Has using RO water been instrumental in this? I whole heartily believe so, can I prove it, no, will I use anything other than RO moving forwards, most definitely not.

Just my view, based on my experience to date..
Isn't this just your second grow? Feck me, you've gone large.

    Lol

Another way to look at it is that they could quite possibly be a fantastic mix, thus being perfect for each other..undressing each other with their eyes and skipping coffee altogether or a quick bunk up back at base!

I can see it now...my molecules, such that they are, yielding, submissively as they're wrapped up in the arms of what is, ostensibly, a hairy fucking builder...but in a liquid form.

OK so I've gone for a 5 stage 100gpd unit with pump I go pick it up tomorrow.
He says it needs new filters but at £30 it's got to be worth a try

Watch out - some of the membranes are expensive.

I binned my last unit due to this!

Ideally check output with a Ec pen. Also poor storage will wreck the components.

Hth - hate to see 30 quid p1ssed away...

Personally I would just add calcium to the ro water.. have you seen the amount of shit that goes into our tap water.:

If our ladies just require the main compounds silicone, magnesium and calcium, which we can add ourselves at a dosage we control why would we not do that and prevent the plant from being exposed to elements, okay not necessarily harmful, but not required and don’t need to be introduced to the mix, pardon the pun
