    Thanks for the welcoming, guys.

Will check out Vivid. And I'll check your grow, G. As soon as I reach 5 posts. Thanks.

Still working on building the LED knowledge base to make a more informed decision. I'm slow to learn, but I'll get there.

Am I on point with the following?

Wattage is a piece of the puzzle, not the whole picture. "Useful photons" is the end game. When choosing a light I should ultimately be focusing on a light's spectrum, and it's PPFD within a footprint that matches my intended canopy. Yeah?

Hey there buddy for total ppfd saturation I recommend around 500w of qb288 in a 1m2. Although you can use less ppfd to grow if you want to maximise yeild and density for your space that's what I'd recommend. Many people are achieving 2gpw with that level and quality of ppfd.

I'm currently running 2, 2000 Watt Bestva LED's in a 6.5 X 6.5 x 7ft. tent, but am only using about 5X5 of the tent. Now I realize that those lights only draw about 390 watts each. I'm at about 4 weeks now and the plants are doing great, have tied them down and they are really bushing out. When they get about 3 foot high (Just the plants without the container) I'll start the flowering process. Get the most and best lights you can afford. I plan to add one more 2000 watt and then I can use the entire space. BTW, I have two Purple Starburst clones and 2 San Fernando Valley OG clones.

Thanks, everyone. All of this input has been helpful. Appreciate your time.

I'll be going down the rabbit hole of grow diaries very shortly (think this is my 5th post), and I think that'll go a long way to help sort this out.

I've been able to see some of diaries, somehow, and they seem like amazing resources -and exciting reads.
I read one diary here where a really skilled grower was dealing with bud rot due to a difficult grow environment in a shed. By the end I thought, and still think, the whole thing should be turned into a movie.

    Thanks again!
