    Default Answered: Co2 Enrichment

Just a quick question regarding Co2 I've noticed on the BOC website that the Co2 tanks come in 2 withdrawal types vapor or liquid.

Struggling to find out which one I need? I'll be using the Ecotechnics regulator and controller.

I use vapour co2. I was not aware that liquid was an option. I fill up at local welding supply. They have industrial grade and food grade. I get the food grade."

I’d imagine it would be vapour

Now I'm confused... CO2 is a gas, but compress a gas & you get a liquid

    I'm not a scientist but I'd imagine liquid Co2 would last longer. Here's a C&P from Google
Same is when the CO2 is above 31.1 degree Celsius, no matter how much pressure we apply it can not be converted into liquid. So CO2 is called as gas at these conditions. But above 72.9 atm and below 31.1 degree Celsius simultaneously, it can be converted into liquid and at this condition it is known as vapour.

    These are the options

    Liquid withdrawal
    Vapour withdrawal

    Both the same price

Thats confusing as liquid is vapour in this example so gas is another option all together.

Id say gas is the obvious answer you need to order as those pressures and temps sound way beyond ecotechnics.

Also look up suregas from BOC which is more plausible to have than industrial CO2

Almost twice as expensive compared to regular Co2 and I aren't sure what the difference is tbf.

Not sure what attention the industrial gas truck will have when it pulls up at your place.

The other truck is small and goes to pubs and restaurants

There's BOC just down the road from where I live so could always go and pick it up. Like the sound of a 34kg bottle as opposed to 6.5kg means less times having it filled up

    Edit...

They do both safegas and Co2 in 34kg bottles
