I’m still not sure I’ve got a handle on it but I’ll do some more reading and try to get my head round it.

Basically bud wiser the colder it is the more water content held in the air. So the colder it is the more humidity there is, however, this does get to a point where it goes the other way, in cold frosty weather the humidity can be really low. I find when its icy or snowy out my humidity can drop so low it will not even register (below 30%)
