Topping an autoflower?

I've personally topped autoflowers many times with no negative side effects, I also use LST with great success.

I did experiment with topping the same auto twice, however, and she did yield less..but it was only one test, so not a highly accurate 'test'... but I personally won't be topping an auto twice.


Many growers here top/LST their autoflowers too..with very positive results

At the risk of sounding cryptic... BB & I have both topped an auto twice... just not in the way you would expect

All depends in my opinion. Anything over 80% Indica don’t top. Leaf tucking and LST are better.

You can delay auto flowers with extreme LST but my opinion over 30 plants is .... errr works great with some and give out of this world yield with others..

Knowing your strain is key. Not many of us stick to one strain over a year or two to get their knowledge ... JMO.

I am starting my sixth iteration of Sour Crack and only now get her foibles.

I forgot ... if by day 16 and not at least higher than 4th node .. don’t top....more to worry about ;-)
