    Yeah chillers are expensive to buy and run. Also fiddly as needs the right pump. I used them for my reef setup, so have them in store.

    I grow outside so temps get down to -5C.

    A tube heater in doors would surely do it.

    Edit : your res will end up at temp temperature if in the tent....
    If running the res warmer 20c is there any way to prevent algae? I think air stones help prevent root disease just wondering if there's a way to run the res hot.

    I believe hydrogen peroxide will help - but this is not my area. Most seem to use chillers. I reckon mainly because this style
    of setup - you want every aspect dialed in.

    What I do know is last summer I ended up with serious problems with algae despite my reservoirs being in thick black bags. It stunk. Temps did hit 36C !!!

    There's me thinking it will be running super cool haha and I'd need to have heaters on all the time. Thanks for the heads up on the BTU.
