    For me it’s straight in medium, the medium is dark and wet so will do same job, just less stress transplanting from towel to medium, they are just so delicate at that stage, lots of methods and I,m sure you’ll find out what works best for you, maybe try 1/2 1/2

    What I do also is put a bit clingfilm over top of pot to keep heat and humidity , stops them drying out as they aren’t deep

    One more thing haha ??when i put the seeds in the soil i immediately turn on the 300 watt LED in veg mode? Or is better waiting?

    I used the paper towel method without a problem for a few years then for whatever reason Id got a few strains that failed germination wanking away £30, now I drop them in water and wait until they sink then straight into the soil

    Even with auto's I start them off in small cups now and they sit on an oil rad in the dark with high humidity
    100% for the last few runs touching wood long may it continue

    The airing or boiler room is a nice dark warm'ish place, if you're in a colder climate with heating on fairly regular. I have a combi boiler and that clicking on a few times a day is enough to keep the space warm.
