Default Greetings from Across the Pond

Old timer here, was part of the Humboldt County/Emerald Triangle growers in the 1970's,-1980's, back when it was called sinsemilla and Indica was just coming onto the scene. I have a degree in Botany, though I never really worked in that field. Most of my growing was done outdoors or in outdoor greenhouses. I took a 30 year hiatus from growing and smoking as I worked for the American equivalent of NWE. Retired now and and have switched over to indoor growing. Legal here in California. Currently running 2 2000 Watt Bestva LED lights (390 watt draw each) in a 6.5 x 6.5 x 7.5 ft. tent. Needs a bit more light, but I'm only growing 4 plants, in 7.5 gallon grow bags, in Happy Frog soil. Fun getting back into the growing mode again. Since recreational marijuana is legal in CA. I have many options when it comes to strains, with literally hundreds of strains available with a two hour drive. I grow from clones as it gives me a couple weeks head start as the plants are already established

Hi mate, welcome to the forum

    Sinsemilla just means unseeded cannabis

Yep, Spanish for "without seeds" sin (without) semilla (seeds). Back in the 70's weed without seeds was a new thing, prior to that most of the weed was Mexican dirt weed, sticks stems and seeds, no extra charge! Once in a while you'd get some Thai sticks, haven't heard of them in many moons.
