My lights cost about 200 quid to put together from scratch. That gave me 10 x 15w 2ft strips, the driver, the wiring components, a soldering kit, rivet gun, and aluminum strips. I did a build diary on here for that too (didnt know what I was doing but had a mentor on it guiding me).
They run pretty cool and the ideal space between lights and canopy would be 8 to 10 inches... tho I've had to trim foxtailing on one grow as it reached to lights

Great stuff Silkadin, I'll have a read of that definitely. £200 is not the end of the rainbow, well doable.

Yeah, and you can get cheaper strips. I went for the best available which were about a tenner each, but you can get cheaper brands than samsung for more like 6 per strip I think

Thanks mate, appreciate it. I'll look into the Samsung brand and others. I'll have a look the weekend, I've got to save some dough and still got fundamentals to get for this effort.

    Had a tidy up.

I raised the lamp another 7-8 inches so it's off the yoyo and now on screwed hook and into plasterboard fixing.

Thanks brother, we'll get something eh? I'm going to order 5 x Nirvana's Aurora Indica, grown it before and it is so good for beginners, I really gave them some grief and they still delivered. Proper heavy couchlock too, which I like. 1x Kera Classic Bubblegum fem and a Breaking Buds Seeds Chocolate cookie fem x 1.

Obviously I wont be doing them all in one lol. I'll go with an Aurora and the bubblegum first I think and then see what room I have. If I go down the CFL route and it's like before then I should get more in there, we'll see.
