    Default Led distance

Hi everyone. My seedlings are growing under a 300 watt LED light. Could any of you tell me what could be a good distance between light and plants? Thank you

For seedlings I hang mine 3 foot (36") above and let the plants grow up to it, if they start looking stretchy i raise them up to the light until they settle then drop em back down again. Other than that my lights stay at 3 foot until the plant gets close then I keep it around 18-24" from the canopy as it grows right thru till harvest

LED's are powerful and very easy to burn ya plant, so theres no set height covers all. I edge on the side of caution and just watch the plants, they will tell you if you need to be closer or further away

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

Reallly depends on the type of LED. There is a massive intensity difference between old style blue and red and the new Quantum Boards. I image COB LED will also be different but never tried those.

Start high. 12" for a seedling is too close regardless which unit you're using. Start high. Easy to fix if its stretches.. Bury the stem in your first transplant.
