    Default Automatic Curing system

Has anyone made or used an automatic curing system? If so how are the results?

TBH, I'd never given it a 2nd thought.... curing is simple enough, why would I spend money on it?

I believe you install one way valves in the jars so air can escape if pushed then have air forced in by an air pump which is turned on by a complicated controller. When humidity is too high it pumps fresh air for 15 minutes every hour. When humidity is optimal it turns off the air pump timer.

Last year I had to harvest early for vacation. Something like this gives a little more flexibility if you cannot be around.

A simple design like this one is assuming that the ambient RH will be less than cure RH. They make professional cure boxes that will control the RH of the air it is exchanging.

Ah I see. Never even heard of an automated curing system till now. Sounds expensive.

Other than an aquarium pump some oneway valves and tubing not very expensive at all. I dont have time to burp twice a day so I can have it done automatically with a timer. It let's me focus on other parts of my grow in the limited amount of time I have.

It's pretty simple air in air out twice a day. The oneway valves prevent air from escaping when the pump is off. Air gets changed twice a day
