Don’t take advice from me cos I’m a proper chancer... but... GET SOME AUTO POTS!

Mix a feed... fill the res.... pH it... then go back the next day to correct said pH and... that’s yer lot for a few days.

I do find the pH fluctuates more with some nutes more than others.. the canna for coco tends to stay where you put it from the off tho.

    Hope this helps...

Nice. I have been looking at autopots...a couple of questions if I may?

    1. It waters from the bottom and soaks up through the coco? No top watering at all?

    2. Is changing the res easy enough? Do you change the whole res or top up?

    3. Do you run an air stone in the res?

Oh, and if you don’t have two 47L reservoirs available how long can you go between res refills, Vlad?

I find the pH drops with aeration. That is with an EC of 0.6. Of that 0.35 is CalMag.

    I use these things :-

Normally, sub 20 with free p + p. Just first ebay link I could find.

Cheap, cheerful, but do the job.

1: you water from the top til the roots are visible out the bottom of the pot, then it’s all bottom feeding, baby!

2: I just top up the res unless there’s a problem, but yeah, they’re not massive. I can get the res out of my cellar hatch with a bit in it.

3: No. I don’t run an airstone. I was thinking of giving it a go tho cos the pH does tend to wander a bit from time to time and that might help mix it up.

Obviously depends how big the plants are bud, but if you filled one res to the top with four whoppers at full pelt... it’ll probably do 4 days, maybe 5.
