Default Green light on tower fan

I have a tower fan hanging sideways, it has a green light when selecting options, am i going to have to crack it open and disconnect the LED or will it not bother the plants with being green?

    cheers

Black insulating tape over it should do the trick

Hi oJAE, you know..as much as they say green light is fine, I'd always end up worrying and making sure I tape it up or something lol.

I concur, when you finally peel it off a squirt of wd40 will help remove the sticky marks

Green light is the most luminous colour, as in lux, to humans.

The reason people use it in dark grow rooms is because a few watts is relatively dim to plants while its bloody bright to us.

Green light is photosynthetically active, so yes cover with black tape.

Alright got it taped up well. One more thing I was wondering, my tower fan has a wind mode where it goes on and off? do people who use tower fans use this feature?
