Default KD has a munchies problem!

So... I'm not a fan of sweet things like cakes and biscuits but they dont make things here that you can just eat straight from the fridge. Other than sausage rolls, what recipes have you got that I can make a batch of and keep in the fridge for a quick munch?

There are loads of things you could make, such as :-

    Spicy toasted nuts
    Mini Chicken satay bites
    Mini Lamb kebab skewers
Cheese :-) cannot go wrong with cheese!
Smoked mackerel pate is quick and easy to make
    Bombay mix

Just thinking off the top of my head!

Guess it depends how inclined you are in the kitchen.

Make a batch of nice spicy dahl, loads of recipes on line. Then some buy popadoms flat or nan bread. Keep in fridge, eat at will, hot or cold. (maybe some mint yoghurt and some Mango chutney to accompany)

Dirt cheap if you got some spices already just buy lentils.
