Get a fan speed controller and use the RVK. Running it slower will cut down the noise.

Most fan noise is caused by the air movement tho so check your ducting is taped down air tight to the fan, cut down as many bends as possible, stick an old towel in the end of the duct to help with sound.
How is it mounted? most people hang them with bungees to help the noise, I stand mine on top of the carbon filter which is stood on the floor and use a speed controller. Variispeed 300W Plug In Variable Fan Speed Controller less than a tenner

Also what type of ducting are you using with it? perhaps look at acoustic ducting if you havent already to help keep it down.

You have a very good fan, might as well spend a little to make it useable rather than spend a lot to replace it

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

Or you could build a silencer box for it. Here's a DIY thread that @IceCalibur did:

    Cheers dude,

Just ordered the SMS dual fan controller (so I can link 4" intake to it)

Tried hanging it, was same loudness as fixing to the wall.

Acoustic ducting is a god send and a silencer. I got a 6" silencer and 2m of 6" acoustic ducting for less than £60 add with a controller and no one hears a thing I've had every man and his dog stood right near my out building never had any suspicious questions from anyone been in there a year or so now. I'm also surrounded by other peoples gardens next doors patio is right next to it as well.

Dont bolt it to wall . Hang it . Bolting . It reverberates and amplifies every sound

Cheers dude, what's best way to hang them - would this still be the case if I Silence MDF box it?

    Cheers

    Cheers
Ratchet hangers or bungy cords man
It absorbs the vibrations and wont reverberate through your wall .

No matter how silent they are . Its the slight vibration you want to rid of thats the trick
