I wish I could grow a viking beard. I let mine grow out and ended up looking more like an arab.

Ultimately the potential length of your beard is down to genetics. If ya genetics say 3 inch beard that's all ya getting hehe Once the hairs reach their pre-programmed terminal length they start to shed to allow new ones to grow.
Its important to check the hairs as they fall out, they should have a small follicle or root at the end, if not they are breaking not shedding and require treating

Basically they are autoflowering pubes (yes facial hair is pubic hair just like on ya balls)

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

On the contrary, I used my chance and removed my beard)) I wanted to see something new in the mirror for the third week of quarantine)

To control the itch get a good quality beard oil or beard balm/butter. These are designed for the skin under your beard to help relieve the itching/dryness/dandruff whilst nourishing the hair too. Can make your own too easy enough, mango butter, shea butter, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, hemp oil, essential oils to scent. heat em all in a bowl over a pan of hot water and pour into a container to set. Loads of guides on youtube. Its just butter, carrier oils and scent.
I'm over the 1/2" mark. Thought I'd passed the itching as well but has been driving me nuts last few days.

You and me have different ideas on the meaning of "easy" Lard slapped on is easy. Just finding most of ur ingredients involves a lot of work lol.

I can just imagine the marauding vikings sitting around the burning priests, drinking wine and asking, "would someone pass me the mango butter please?" ROFlMAO

I did the same with my Wahl clippers. Summertime meant to give myself a number 4 on my head, forgot I'd trimmed my beard with a number 1. Oops.

And ur right about the women. I've had 1 tell me I look good with a bit of snow on my chin. She then spoilt it by saying instead of my nostrils

Yes mate, still at it. I think it is from the day before Paddys day but I've set the start at paddys day. That was also the last day I had a pint in a pub!
I gave it a little trim yesterday with a No 7 Wahl clipper, the longest I have. It hardly touched it.
Here's a pic, I haven't got round to brushing it yet

I used to have a long beard I wouldn't mind growing it back but these days I shave my face so I can put on a mask when I go to town
