    My entry,

Ladles and Jellyspoons, I give you Dustpan falls

Multi-functional too! Creates a waterfall for more dissolved oxygen (in theory) and provides an excellent platform for mixing nutes/testing ec and ph

So, I fancy a bit of Tench fishing and need bait.
A worm farm, made from some old flooring, cardboard, empty toilet roll holders, food scraps and compost.

I dug out some grass and added compost to the hole, then cardboard on top. More compost with food scraps. The grass is to help keep moisture and will compost down. Finally topped with compost.
Apparently, I need to put food on 1/2. This keeps the worms on one side. Remove required worms, put food on the other side. Any worms left will move over
I'll water it a couple of times a day. Should be fishing in a few days.

When it becomes established I'm going to make a deluxe model from an old flip-top bin and a basket from an old fridge freezer. I'll then be able to use the Leachate as fertilizer.

    Default Free Perlite

My new fridge/freezer came packed with 3 sheets of polystyrene. They measured 112 x 40 x.6 cm.

Out with the blender...add water and pieces of polystyrene and blend. Voila, free Perlite. I'm off to plant 8 more peppers.

    This is only 1 sheet!

The thick stuff doesn't blend well, perhaps if I sliced it up but I can't be arsed.

I'm going to use the other 2 for insulation on my homemade clone/mum's box.

would of been good insulation if you didnt blitz it.lol.
i use the sheets to set things on. like a floor standing fan or even airpumps. helps absorb vibration.

speaking of clone/mum box, found pics of my old one in albums. so here it is. (was only using 1 t5 back then)

using old cupboard and bedside cabinet.
    some reflective sheet.
plastic vent grill for passive intake and a pc fan on charger for extraction.
some left over laminate flooring as floor.

light leaks wasnt an issue as lights were always on.
smell wasnt an issue as air coming out of it warmed the room that vented into the main tent.

got rid of it as new space wouldnt fit it good enough. so gona make a smaller one soo that fits in there.
