This girl was sick during veg and didnt look to be growing much... then she started growing and hasnt stopped since. Overtaken my other plant and is now just an inch from the light on the main cola. I've heard of staggered harvests, but I'm guessing chopping that cola this early would cause too much stress and increase the chances of seeds/hermie?

I've been on the fence about trashing her for so long... looks like only a month or 6 weeks left on the healthy smaller plant I reckon, so it's getting harder to make that decision. Looking forward to doing just 1 plant next time. Working on a veg cabinet so I can overlap a bit lol.

you may want to defoliate a bit. get some light to penetrate the canopy. after that you should have some space to do some light training, pulling those bigger branches down and out a bit if possible.
only only option i see, is, defoliate and take off some bud sites. keep it to a minimum and you shouldnt have any issues.
lollypop them a bit too. stager if you need too. many do it with no probs

I've been snipping 6 or 7 leaves a day but I can be more brutal if you think it won't screw her up. I never know when is the right time to snip bits. Usually I train and tuck without scissors but as this one was sick and stunted early on I didnt think she would turn out this chaotic. They're autos if that makes any difference

I'll see what can be done after the house goes to sleep.

Felt like I chopped loads but it's still quite messy I'm afraid. Got rid of a lot of the smaller popcorn shoots which were tangled underneath and sacrificed a couple colas that were touching the light. 2 nights of stress... thinking that'll have to suffice for a while so she can recover.
I've always been extra careful not to stress the plants so this feels like I'm probably going too far. But tbh even if I end up with a plant full of seeds I'll have learnt something and can use the harvest for oils or edibles instead of picking out seeds every time I roll lol.

Bend the mains. Pinch first to soften and let them flop over.

I have never had issue with heavy handed thinning. Air and light always = better results. I totally failed on this rule with my last grow.

Also looks like a mag deficiency. Either not enough or locked out.

My background ec is 0.07 so I usually add about 0.4ml per litre of cal mag to bring it up to around 0.35. Then I add the silicone and a touch of pk. Followed by a and b putting overall ec at 1.5. Her runoff is about 1.1ec now. Wondering if that's saying I need to up it even more but bit scared of going so high.

With a background of 0.0 I am adding calmag to about 0.2 on most feedings.
