    In the attik the chimney had a hatch
    Opened it...
    dirty dusty sut
    pushed all in and out and i can see the old chimney liner going allway down stairs.

    Am i safe to thi k i can chop this open and stick my duct in there? The old dust n sap aint gona cause a problem i know they can get gammy... And its not my fire its from a god 10 year ago in good condition on the outside...

    There is no fireplace in the house just blank chimney breasts

    The only thing I can think of is the possible noise it will make.
    Once you start blowing air through crevices and the like it tends to amplify the sound.

    How? Im in the loft so its goin up and out.. My other option is stick it out the eves like most do but its gona be yhe same eitherway?

    I use my chimney for extraction and have no issues.
    I did make sure that nothing could travel down the chimney and only travel upwards and out .
    You just can't use a live/working chimney
