If they had been upfront I could have had different ones sent by now. What bugs me most is being told items are in transit. They ignored two requests for a tracking number too. Ah well, nothing to be done. Hopefully the new ones arrive as they charge hefty postage.

Still no bars... hoping tomorrow. In the meantime I've cut the back of the cabinet ready to attach and drilled holes for intake and extraction. I have a few ideas for lightproofing the intake involving carbon filter foam, a vent louver and a small sheet of wood covering the hole inside but still allowing airflow around the edges.

    They've arrived... THEY'VE ARRIVED!

so currently working on the frame. Have cut the bars to length. Next is drilling and riveting.

Gardro: does the driver dictate the wattage pushed out? I'm wondering if I should do 8 strips rather than 7. I can make the frames to accommodate up to 9 strips but was thinking 7 or 8

If I don't hear back in the next few hours I'll go with 7 as originally planned. Can't do much at the moment anyway as waiting for the little one to wake from a nap and then taking her and the dogs on a walk. Hopefully get cracking on it again around 5 or 6

Yeah think i worked out will take upto 9, same current goes through em all as they are in series. Driver just boosts up a bit more voltage

Getting there. Frames built, driver and dimmer switch in place. Next step is pasting the strips down. My plan is to copy my other lights in terms of wiring. So using my previous diary and advice given by Gardro as a guide.

Strips glued. A rivet's in the way of where I wanted the wagos... I'll figure it out once I've got the strips wired up. Now to cut wire.
